The team at both the office and surgery center were incredible and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable! Before speaking to Dr. Basseri, I was hesitant about the surgery due to concerns about compensatory sweating. He explained that it’s minimal and predictable, only occurring in situations where anyone would sweat, like hot weather or when working out. The staff at the Center for Hyperhidrosis walked me through all details, assisted with my insurance company approvals and made the process so easy and effortless. The care and kindness I received from the Doctors and nurses was refreshing, they made me feel like family. Dr Basseri checked in with me every few hours after surgery the first night and then every few days for the first couple of weeks. I am very impressed with every aspect of my experience and so very happy I decided to have the surgery and chose Dr Basseri to be my surgeon. I highly recommend the procedure and Dr Basseri to anyone who has Hyperhidrosis. I had the ELS (feet) surgery with Dr. Basseri, Dr. Reisfeld and the K&B surgical team in October 2024. Four months later, I still can’t believe my feet are 100% dry. I had been contemplating the surgery for a long time, having my first consult with Dr. Basseri nearly a year prior. I agonized over the decision for a multitude of reasons and it ultimately came down to this: I HAD to figure out a way to make my life better, and a huge part of that was remedying this debilitating condition. I jumped through a ton of hoops- securing childcare, arranging payment plans, managing time off work, booking plane tickets / hotel, and navigating quite a few other stressful life events. I can’t emphasize enough how worthwhile it was. Dr. Basseri is hands-down the most attuned, competent, and caring doctor I’ve ever worked with. I was on my return flight cross country less than 24 hours later without issue. Dr. Basseri texted hours after the surgery, the following day, and periodically since then. My only regrets are not having Dr. Basseri for my ETS surgery (had it many years ago before he was in practice) and not scheduling the ELS with him sooner. Overall I’m very happy with the experience and the results and would definitely recommend Dr. Basseri to others looking to treat their hyperhidrosis. My only piece of feedback/advise would be to take the extra time after the surgery to rest in the clinic. I think my drive home (I’m local to LA) would have been a bit more comfortable with an extra hour or two of recovery in the clinic. Read Less“
