I had been contemplating the surgery for a long time, having my first consult with Dr. Basseri nearly a year prior. I agonized over the decision for a multitude of reasons and it ultimately came down to this: I HAD to figure out a way to make my life better, and a huge part of that was remedying this debilitating condition. I jumped through a ton of hoops- securing childcare, arranging payment plans, managing time off work, booking plane tickets / hotel, and navigating quite a few other stressful life events. I can’t emphasize enough how worthwhile it was. Dr. Basseri is hands-down the most attuned, competent, and caring doctor I’ve ever worked with. I was on my return flight cross country less than 24 hours later without issue. Dr. Basseri texted hours after the surgery, the following day, and periodically since then. My only regrets are not having Dr. Basseri for my ETS surgery (had it many years ago before he was in practice) and not scheduling the ELS with him sooner.
